Mott correlations in ABC graphene trilayer aligned with hBN

ABC trilayer graphene aligned with hexagonal boron nitride (ABC/hBN) and other moir\'e systems have shown insulating phases at integer fillings of the lattice. The role Mott physics in these states has been questioned by observations correlated a nonaligned trilayer, but recent photocurrent experiments samples are consistent existence state half filling. Using dynamical mean-field theory we address effect correlations ABC/hBN. We show that, experimentally relevant interaction values, electronic strongly affected significant spectral weight transfer not present without alignment to hBN. This effect, which emerges interactions considerably smaller than ${U}_{\mathrm{Mott}}$ (at metal-insulator transition takes place) does require symmetry breaking, also impacts properties temperatures above ordering transitions producing anomalous temperature doping dependencies. Close transition, intramoir\'e unit cell promote an antiferromagnetic state, probably breaking ${C}_{3}$ symmetry, that would compete ferromagnetic exchange determine ground state.
